With an MSc. and a BSc. in Agriculture from the University of Alberta, Darcy Fitzgerald started his career with Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development developing his skills in the engineering branch managing grants and environmental projects and then working with Alberta's intensive livestock industry on permitting and regulatory issues.

Darcy was general manager of the Alberta Livestock Industry Development Fund for eight years before coming to ALMA as its director of industry investments. Darcy's favourite part of working at ALMA is the diversity of projects and people that he gets to work with.

Carrie has been working with the agriculture industry and government for over ten years. Prior to joining ALMA, she was the Executive Manager for the Agri-Environmental Partnership of Alberta working with an industry and government board on environmental policy and strategies. Her strengths are facilitating processes and building consensus that enable industry and government to set priorities and develop strategic actions. Carrie has built strong relationships with the livestock industry while working as the Environmental Program Coordinator for the Intensive Livestock Working Group.

Carrie is very committed to the success of the agriculture industry and is excited to be working with ALMA.
